The images shown are shocking and the revealed facts must be firmly condemned. <\/p>\n\n<p>Following this video, we wish to provide several clarifications regarding our role at this site:<\/p>\n\n<p>Our interventions are limited to only two days per week.<\/p>\n\n<p>The AVS organization does not certify any slaughter of sheep (lambs, ewes) at this site.<\/p>\n\n<p>At the request of L214, we received its representative in our offices for a discussion on these matters. We reaffirmed our strict requirements regarding respect for animal welfare, which is one of the pillars of our mission. <\/p>\n\n<p>AVS relies on three essential foundations to guarantee this respect:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A rigorous ethical charter,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A demanding set of specifications,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A training guide for accredited inspectors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>However, we regret that the title of this video is associated with the Eid al-Adha celebration.<\/p>\n\n<p>The images have nothing to do with this Muslim religious holiday. While denouncing animal abuse is legitimate, resorting to stereotypes that may fuel the stigmatization of a community cannot be supported.
